Kathryn Biddle is an Architectural Conservator for Dan Lepore and Sons Company in Conshohocken, PA. Her professional work has primarily focused on the preservation of historic masonry structures including Independence Hall, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Longwood Gardens. Kathryn is responsible for the complete execution and management of masonry restoration and conservation projects. Her role on projects includes project management, estimating, conditions assessment, site recording, laboratory analysis, treatment testing, and application of conservation treatments. Kathryn earned a MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania with a focus in conservation science. At Penn, she was the recipient of the Charles E. Peterson Award for advanced study of building technology and is a two-time recipient of The Peterson Prize from the Carpenters’ Company of the City and County of Philadelphia. Prior to graduate school, she earned a BA in Art History and Architecture from The Pennsylvania State University.
