Charles DiSanto is a licensed Architect with over 35 years of experience in the field of building restoration, with a special expertise in historic buildings, envelope design and water infiltration issues. He was Principal of Walter B. Melvin Architects LLC in New York City until 2017, and spent 30 years in that city designing scores of restoration projects prior to relocating to Philadelphia. 

Mr. DiSanto holds both bachelors and master's degrees in Building Science  and Architecture from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. 

Though semi-retired, he continues to consult and serve as an expert witness on various projects in New York City, Philadelphia and New Jersey,  and is currently restoring a 19th century rowhouse in the Fairmount neighborhood.
